105 Epoxy Resin is the base material on which all WEST SYSTEM 105 System epoxy compounds are built it is a liquid epoxy resin of low viscosity, which when mixed with the hardener in the appropriate amount, hardens to a hard, solid plastic with superior physical properties.

Depending on the hardener you choose, it solidifies at a wide range of temperatures. Once cured, it forms a high-strength, water-resistant, highly moisture-resistant solid.

It can be used to join wood, fiberglass and reinforcing fabrics. It also binds well with a variety of metals.

Epoxy West System hardly shrinks after curing.

Hardeners characteristics:

It is the second component, with it hardens the resin.

206 hardener is a slow hardener, used when we need a longer working time or a longer drying time.

The hardness ratio is 1 part to 5 resin.

Temperature

• Shelf-life at 22 ºC (72 ºF): 20 to 25 minutes
• Solid-state curing: 10 to 15 hours.
• Maximum resistance: 1 to 4 days
• Recommended minimum temperature: 16º C (60 º F)
